Lorraine is a dedicated pet owner and works to educate pet owners on responsible pet ownership. At Colonial Park, in the leash-free dog park, stands a dog statue she donated. Its plaque reads:
BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER
HONOR THE LEASH LAWS
INOCULATE AGAINST DISEASE AND
REMEMBER TO SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PETS
WE ARE STRONG WHEN WE ARE TOGETHER
